Best Mobile Phone Available Today

Today we’re comparing our 5 best mobile phone available today. Since my contract is up for renewal soon, I thought it would be a god idea to my homework and get the best tech for the best price.

The following list will detail the 5 major contenders, including Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC and Huawei, and the pros and cons of each handset. The main focus we will be looking at is the price. We want to compare each handset and see exactly which one give you more bang for your buck.

Iphone 7Best Mobile Phone

First up is the obvious choice. The IPhone has been popular for so long down to the fact they are just so easy to use. Everything works smoothly They feel great, I have always been a fan of the keyboard on the IPhone, as Android always seems to mistype a lot of words. Maybe this is down to my fat thumbs. The current price of the

The current price of the Iphone 7 in high street shops start around £579 on a SIM Free plan. Although we found it cheaper here. For this you get 32Gb capacity, 4.7-inch Retina HD display, 12MP Rear Camera, 8MP Front Camera and it runs the A10 Fusion chip with 64-bit architecture. One thing that puts me of about the Iphone is the lack of headphone port. There are adapters which are included, but I really dont need another accessory, especially one so small and easy to misplace.

One strong point about all Apple phones and tablets is for musicians. If anyone has tried to play any musical apps like drums or piano on an Android device will know its almost impossible to play in time due to latency. This is the time it take the phone to realize you pressed the screen to the time it play the sound. Iphone win hands down in this area with instant reaction from the screen. Easily the best mobile phone for creating beats with.

Samsung Galaxy S8Best Mobile Phone

I recently got my hands on the new Samsung S8 and I have to say, its a beautiful bit of kit. The phone fits nicely in the hand despite being such a large screen at 5.8-inch in size. Watching movies on this device was great. The color was vivid and action scenes were clear and the sound was fairly good even off the built in speakers. It packs a 12MP Rear Camera, 8Gb Front Camera and has 64GB internal storage which can be expanded to 256GB. Something the Iphone has always lacked and one of its major downfalls for me is its inability to expand external memory. Another feature I have been grateful for many times in the past, Samsung’s Fast Charge feature which gets you fully charged in just over an hour. There have been some changes to the Galaxy S8. The Screen now covers the whole front of the phone. Because of

Another feature I have been grateful for many times in the past, Samsung’s Fast Charge feature which gets you fully charged in just over an hour. There have been some changes to the Galaxy S8. The Screen now covers the whole front of the phone. Because of this the fingerprint scanner is now on the back, near the camera lens. This I found was a bit awkward at times, as I rarely hit the scanner first time, instead landing on the camera lens its self. The 64Gb model was coming in between £691 and £813 for the Galaxy S8 Plus but we found it for £669 here

Sony Xperia XZBest Mobile Phone

Having owned a Sony Xperia Z something before and several other Sony phones now I think about it. I would be happy to consider their flagship model. Although not the latest phone to come out in this list it comes with a staggering 23MP Rear Camera. Sony’s phones have always picked a feature and then decided to wipe any competition away with it. In the Xperia phones they seem to have focused on the camera.

Previously, before the days of smartphones, models like the w580i focused on Sony’s Walkman roots and gave us a mobile phone with our favourite music collection way before the Iphone existed. Included in the Sony Xperia XZ model is the same features found in previous models including water resistance. Infact there are no major cosmetic changes to previous models, just tweaking and slight improvements here and there. Which isn’t really a bad thing. One feature which will attract Sony Playstation fans is the ability to play PS4 games on your Xperia XZ Screen using your Sony Playstation controller. You will also need to own a PS4 and the game,

which is worth pointing out. Im more of an Xbox guy myself but the camera still looks sweet! The cheapest option we found was for £450 right here.

HTC U UltraBest Mobile Phone

HTC have released some fantastic phones over the past few years and looking at the HTC U Ultra it looks like they may have another great product under their belt. The main features which make the HTC U Ultra stand out is the dual screen. This little window is always running and is located at the top of your 5.7-inch Quad HD screen. The extra screen keeps you up to date with notifications from social media apps and quick access to various other apps running in the background. Im not sure if I really need this screen in all fairness and to be honest im pretty sure having the screen running constantly would ultimately drain the battery much quicker. For me, battery life would be more important than keeping up with social media, but I suppose if you cant bare to be without your social updates then I suppose this phone could be good for you. Some of the other main features of the HTC U Ultra are HTC

Some of the other main features of the HTC U Ultra are HTC Usonic audio platform which claims can analyse you inner ear and adapt the sound to optimize your experience. I cant see how it would be possible to judge what changes are made, if any since it would depend on the individual listener using a set of headphones that nobody else can hear. I shopped about and found most high street stores selling for around £569 for the 32Gb model, although we found the 64Gb model better value for money at £595 here

Huawei P10Best Mobile Phone

A brand ive never had any hands on experience with. Not quite as popular as some of the major brand names you see in the list above. Huawei have slotted in to the smart phone industry by providing fairly decent spec phones much cheaper then its competition. The build quality was always something that let them down for me though. Just by looking at them in the past you could see they were fairly cheap plastic cases, and although the screens managed to do their jobs just fine in most cases, it still lacked that certain something, they never stood out for any other reason as being cheap. The Huawei P10 is certainly not cheap with an average price of £569 for the 64Gb model. Also included in this model is

The Huawei P10 is certainly not cheap with an average price of £569 for the 64Gb model. Also included in this model is 5.1-inch display, 12MP and 20MP Dual Lens camera on the rear and another 8MP front facing camera. It also records in stunning 4K. We managed to find the Huawei online for just £436.

Verdict

After reviewing each phone and the price of each handset, the conclusion is the best mobile phone for value for money would be the Sony Xperia XZ coming in at 2nd on the cheapest phone on the list while packing amazing features that its competitors are only just adding like water proofing and the 23MP camera will be perfect for capturing any moment. Let us know in the comments section below what you think is the best mobile phone available at the moment.
